Tandalex Medical Cover is a healthcare support service designed to facilitate access to medical treatment in Nigeria. Tandalex is not an insurance provider and does not underwrite medical risk.

2. Nature of Service

• Tandalex provides coordination and financial support for medical treatment

• Tandalex does not provide medical or clinical services

• All diagnoses, treatments, and medical decisions are the responsibility of licensed healthcare providers

3. Eligibility

• Services are available to registered users and their designated beneficiaries

• Accurate and complete personal information must be provided

• Tandalex reserves the right to suspend or terminate access where false information is provided

4. Plan Coverage

• Coverage is based on the selected plan

• Services are provided within plan structure

• Each treatment request is assessed individually

5. Treatment Access

• Beneficiaries may seek treatment at any hospital in Nigeria

• Tandalex facilitates access and payment coordination

• Emergency cases may begin before verification

6. Activation & Waiting Period

• Coverage begins 24 hours after payment confirmation

• Routine treatments available after activation

• Moderate/advanced treatments may have 7-14 day waiting period

• Special cases may require additional review

• Emergency support may be provided at discretion

7. Special Case Medical Support

Conditions marked with an asterisk (*) are classified as Special Case Medical Support.​

• Tandalex aims to ensure that beneficiaries can access treatment at healthcare facilities in Nigeria without unnecessary delay

• Tandalex will coordinate and support the treatment process in line with the selected plan\

Where applicable:

• Tandalex may arrange payment directly with healthcare providers

• In certain cases, treatment may proceed without upfront payment by the beneficiary, subject to verification and approval

For higher-cost treatments:

• Tandalex may provide financial support toward the cost of care

• Where treatment costs exceed the applicable plan level:

  • Additional charges may apply​

  • Sponsors will be notified

  • Costs may be handled through:

    • Sponsor top-up, or​

    • Other agreed financial arrangement

8. Payments & Billing

• Subscription fees paid in advance

• Tandalex may pay hospitals directly

• Excess cost is sponsor responsibility

9. Fair Use Policy

• Services must be used reasonably

• Tandalex may limit misuse

10. Exclusions

• Cancer treatment

• Dialysis

• Organ transplant

• Advanced cardiac procedures

• Long-term ICU care

• Cosmetic procedures

11. Medical Review

All treatments are subject to medical review.

12. Limitation of Liability

Tandalex is not responsible for medical outcomes or clinical decisions.

13. Fraud & Misuse

Fraudulent activity may result in termination and legal action.

14. Refund Policy

Subscription fees are non-refundable once activated.

15. Changes to Terms

Tandalex may update these terms at any time.

16. Governing Law

Subject to applicable laws in the jurisdiction of operation.
